Based in Tokanui, Johnstone Contracting is owned and operated by Daryl and Nicola Johnstone and covers Southern and Eastern Southland. Our business is to provide a full range of agricultural services to the farming community. From a farming background Johnstone Contracting was founded over 15 years ago with Ernie and Anne Johnstone starting the agricultural contracting business from a base just around the road. Daryl has been involved for most of these years and is now in a position to lead this business into the future. Most importantly Ernie is not lost to the business after having 50 years contracting experience and he is available to share his knowledge, experience and a few driving hours.

We offer a full cultivation service. We use the latest technology advancements and can deliver an accurate and efficient service. The use of GPS and an electronic job system gives us the accuracy you expect. We can sow all seeds through with Roller Drill's, Air Seeder, Direct Drill and a Precision sower. We also offer Baleage and Hay services using the latest Film on Film technology for the best quality baleage available. New to line up is also a boom spraying service.
